Biometric time clocks use the shape of an employee’s hand to verify his or her identity and collect time and attendance information. Ingersoll Rand Recognition Systems manufactures our biometric hand reader time clocks. Available time clocks include several RSI HandPunch models.

BIOMETRIC FINGER READERS
Fingerprint reader time clocks use the employee’s fingerprint for identification. I.T. 3100 time clocks can be purchased with fingerprint readers.

BARCODE TIME CLOCKS
Barcode time clocks use bar-coded badges to identify employees. Employees can punch, transfer, and review their schedules. Our barcode time clocks include I.T. 3100 and I.D.Punch9.

PIN TIME CLOCKS
PIN time clocks use a personal identification number, or PIN, to identify each employee. Our PIN time clocks include I.T. 3100 and I.D.Punch9.

MAGNETIC STRIP READERS
Magnetic stripe readers use badges with a magnetic stripe to identify employees. I.T. 3100 and I.D.Punch9. can be purchased with magnetic stripe readers.

PROXIMITY READERS
Proximity time clocks use proximity badges (such as HID or Indala) to record an employee’s presence from a short distance. The I.T. 3100 can be purchased with a proximity reader.

Any touch-tone telephone can be used to punch In and Out.

ONLINE TIME SHEETS
Employee Self Service and Kiosk for employees provides updated information to employees, allowing them to review their schedules, time cards, and personal information. Employees can punch In and Out, transfer workgroups, and request time off as well. ESS and Kiosk are accessed from a web browser on any computer.
